How are you in Swahili

1. How are you in Swahili ni: “Habari yako?” / “Unaendeleaje?”
These are the two most common ways to ask someone how are you in Swahili. They are greetings for any time. Here are some common answers to : “Habari yako?” na “Unaendeleaje?”
“Nzuri sana.” (“Very good.”)
“Niko vizuri, asante.” (“I’m fine, thanks.”)
“Nzuri. Wewe?” (“Good. You?”)
“Vyema, ahsante.” (“Good, thanks.”)
“Ninaendelea vizuri. Vipi kuhusu wewe?” (“I’m fine. What about you?”)
“Niko sawa.” (“I’m fine.”)
“Nzuri sana. Na wewe?” (“Very good. And you?”)

2. Jambo: (JAHM-boh) A general greeting meaning “how are you”.
